Step by step instructions

1. Combine the cranberries, sugar and 3 cupe of water and bring to boil in a saucepan, making sure to stair at intervals until you notice that the sugar is completely dissolved.

2. Once you have done that, reduce heat and simmer, making sure it is partially covered, and stirring at intervals until all berries have completely burst. Note that this process should only take approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

8. Allow the jars to cool to room temperature. Also, be sure to check seals before storing at room temperature.

Important things to note:

1. Fresh cranberries precisely yield the best cranberry sauce. However, this does not mean that previously frozen cranberries do not work. They do, but the only difference is that they do not thicken as well for cranberry sauce.

2. Jellied cranberry sauce most especially, will have a much softer set if the cranberries were previously frozen rather than fresh.
