1. Begin with a 2-1/2lb slab of ribs. It is advisable that you look for ribs that have some fat on top as it will add flavor and juiciness to the meat.

2. Once that is done, get your homemade rub together. Add 2 teaspoons salt to taste, 1 teaspoon pepper and 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Also add ½ teaspoon each onion powder, cumin, and smoked paprika, as well as ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper to a small bowl then mix together.

Ingredients:

1. 3 pounds boneless pork ribs

2. ¼ cup basic pork seasoning: dry rub

3. ½ cup barbecue sauce

Directions:

1. First, preheat oven to 300°

2. Carefully remove pork ribs from package and pat dry. Once that is done, place into a baking dish or foil lined baking tray then gently rub the dry rub on all sides of the ribs. Be sure that all edges are well covered.

3. Once that has been don, cover in foil then place in the oven for 2-2 1/2 hours until you cut into them and they are easily pulled apart with your fork. (This is to say that they have become fork tender)

1. 4 pounds boneless beef short ribs, cut into 3-inch long pieces

2. Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

3. ⅔ cup light brown sugar

4. 1 teaspoon Hungarian paprika

5. ½ teaspoon garlic powder

6. 1 tablespoon white vinegar

7. ½ teaspoon dried ground thyme

8. ⅔ cup ketchup

9. 1 tablespoon yellow mustard

10. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

8. 1 onion, cut into rings (optional)

Directions:

1. Whisk together steak sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and water in a bowl until it becomes smooth.

2. Carefully place the pork ribs in a saucepan with a lid then pour the sauce over the ribs. Once that is done, spread some raw onion rings over the ribs and then cover the pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, and simmer the ribs in the sauce for roughly about 45 minutes, or until tender. Serve.

1. First preheat your oven to 325° as you get the rub together.

2. Once that is done, mix the cayenne, chili powder, garlic powder,  mustard powder, pepper, brown sugar and salt together.

3. After you’re done mixing, lay out your ribs and sprinkle half of the mixture on top of them. Be sure to rub the seasoning into the meat. Once that is done, flip and repeat with the other half of the mixture.  

4. After you are done applying the rub, wrap them tightly in plastic wrap, and put them in the refrigerator for about 3 hours. This is to make the ribs to absorb as much flavor as possible.
