4. ¼ cup grated onion, squeezed dry

7. 1 tablespoon canola oil

8. 4 slices American or Cheddar cheese

9. Toasted buns

10. Lettuce.

Step by step instructions

1. Pulse your mushrooms as well as your Worcestershire sauce in a food processor until finely chopped

2.  Combine with the beef and onion, and then form mixture into 4 patties (should be about 4 inches wide)

4. Heat canola oil on medium in a non-stick skillet, then add patties.

5. Cook for 5 minutes, then turn patties over and increase heat to medium-high.

6. Top each patty with cheese, and cook for an additional 4 minutes or until cheese melts.

2. Spaghetti Bolognese

1. 1 lb. spaghetti

2. 1 lb. ground beef chuck

3. 1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes

4. ½ oz. grated Pecorino cheese

5. 1 medium onion

6. ½ cup milk

8. 3 cloves garlic..

Step by step instructions

1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook 1 pound spaghetti.

While the spaghetti is cooking, you can make the sauce.

2. Chop 1 medium onion and 3 cloves garlic.

3. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in large saucepot. Once you have done that, add the garlic as well as the chopped onion, and ½ teaspoon salt, and then cook for just 10 minutes. Be sure to stir at intervals.

4. Now add the 1 pound ground beef chuck to saucepot, and cook for just 5 minutes.

5. Add 1 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes. At this stage, you are to reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes only.

6. Stir in ½ ounce grated Pecorino cheese, together with ½ cup milk.

7. Add spaghetti and toss until it is well combined.

8. Now serve with fresh basil and some additional grated Pecorino (that’s if you wish)

Step by step instructions

1. Cook ground beef over medium heat in an oven safe skillet until browned(I recommend you use a 10 inch skillet)

Be sure not to drain if you are using lean beef.

2. Add the enchilada sauce, as well as the taco seasoning, rice and water. Mix properly to combine. Carefully cover and simmer for approximately 25 to 30 minutes or until the rice becomes soft.

It is necessary to note that some of the rice might just stick to the bottom of your skillet. All you need to do is to scrape them off the bottom using a spoon.

3. Now once the rice is fully prepared, stir in the cream cheese.

4. Add the black beans,, as well as the corn and diced chilis. Mix properly to combine.

Step by step instructions

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Heat the oil in a 9 inch cast-iron skillet over medium heat.

3. Now add the mushrooms as well as the beef and ¾ teaspoon each salt and pepper to taste.

4. Cook, breaking up the beef with a spoon, until it is browned. Note that this should take about 4 to 6 minutes. Discard any fat.

5. Add the tomato paste and cook. Stir for 2 minutes.

6. Add the onions and thyme, then sprinkle with the flour and cook for just 30 seconds, stirring at intervals.

7. Add the stout and simmer until the liquid has thickened. This should take about 1 minute.

8. Add ½ cup water and bring to a simmer.

9.  Add the peas and squash and return to a simmer, then remove from heat. Note that this should only take roughly about 2 to 3 minutes.

Here comes the most interesting part;

10. Unroll the pastry on a cutting board. Brush with the egg, and then cut a cross in the center.

11. Lay the dough on top of the beef mixture and gently press the edges around the inside of the skillet.

12. Bake until golden brown. This should take roughly about 30 to 35 minutes.

Allow it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

4. Cool meat completely, then divide into freezer bags. I recommend you portion 2 ¼ cups of meat per bag, which is equal to about one pound.

It is necessary to note that frozen cooked ground beef only last about 3-4 days in the fridge and up to 4 months in the freezer.
